🌟 My Week in Review
This week was a busy one, full of fresh starts, process tweaks, and a few challenges to work through. Here’s a quick recap of what I’ve been up to.
👋 Welcoming a New Team Member
One of the highlights of the week was welcoming Aleksandra to the team! She’s already jumped into the deep end, shadowing calls across different regions, and it’s been great seeing her enthusiasm. Next week, she’ll start taking the lead on one of our key trackers and helping run daily check-ins.
🔄 Process Improvements in Motion
I’ve been working on a small but important change — encouraging quicker decision-making after interviews. It’s amazing how small adjustments can make a big difference to recruitment timelines.
📊 Strategic Project Work
Several ongoing initiatives kept me busy — refining plans, reviewing priorities, and making sure everyone is aligned. I’ve been wearing my “facilitator” hat a lot, running stand-ups, planning sprints and fine-tuning user stories so they’re clear and actionable.
There’s still some uncertainty in a few areas, but progress is being made step by step.
🌍 International Projects
This week also involved supporting projects in different countries, both in Europe and Asia. Lots of coordination is needed when different systems, processes, and timelines are involved, so I spent time mapping dependencies and ensuring that key deliverables are on track. As with any big change, there are challenges — but clear communication and tracking are keeping things moving.
📅 Looking Ahead
Next week, the focus will be:
- Helping Aleksandra settle into her role and take on new responsibilities.
- Following up on feedback for the recruitment process changes.
- Reviewing plans, chasing outstanding actions, and preparing for upcoming deadlines.
