Keeping the Momentum Going
This week has been all about steady progress, learning, and staying connected. From streamlining processes to tackling challenges, everyone’s focus has been on working together and finding better ways to move forward. Here’s a quick recap of what’s been happening:
What We’ve Been Up To
Learning & Improving: We held a lessons-learned session to reflect on recent experiences and gathered some useful insights to shape future work. On top of that, we introduced a new process for offer prep reviews – it’s a bit more work now, but we’re confident it’ll make things a lot easier in the long run.
Staying Connected: Regular updates, daily chats, and a bit of teamwork magic kept everyone on the same page. Communication tools like country-specific groups and registers helped track tasks and ensure nothing fell through the cracks.
New Ideas Taking Shape: We kicked off work on user stories for a new pilot program and shared a draft for feedback. On the agile side of things, daily standups and backlog sessions helped keep everything ticking along smoothly.
Managing Risks & Vendors: We tackled risks head-on by updating logs and looking at practical solutions to keep things moving. Vendor meetings took place too – a few delays cropped up thanks to holidays, but follow-ups are already in motion to stay on track.
Taking Stock & Looking Ahead: With some recent changes in the organisation, there’s been talk about hitting the reset button – taking a moment to reassess, realign, and plan the next steps. It feels like the perfect chance to step back and make sure we’re heading in the right direction.
What’s Next?
- Lock in milestone dates with all the key players.
- Update plans and make small adjustments based on feedback.
- Keep addressing open risks and staying on top of progress checks.
This week’s been a mix of small wins, fresh ideas, and good old-fashioned teamwork. Challenges keep coming, but we’re tackling them one step at a time – and learning as we go. Bring on next week!
